West Side Market
The
West
Side Market, Cleveland's oldest publicly owned
market, dates back to 1840 and was originally an open-air marketplace. Designed
by architects Benjamin Hubbel and W. Dominick Benes, the yellow brick market
house with an interior concourse was opened to the public in 1912. The market
house's 137-foot clock tower remains a Cleveland landmark. The market now hosts over 100 vendors of diverse
ethnicities, offering fine meats, fresh vegetables, seafood, baked goods,
dairy, cheese products, flowers, ready-to-eat foods, herbs, candy, and nuts.
Over a million people visit the market annually, making it an interesting and
historical Cleveland tradition.

The student who was pointed out by the weapon alerted the school resource officers, so they searched and found the pellet gun in the vehicle, which was never inside the high school. Now, the student is currently in custody, and school consequences will be announced as the investigation concludes. It's becoming saddening that student now brings a gun. Read more.
